Estamos ya a menos de dos meses del lanzamiento de Xbox One X, la nueva consola de Microsoft que hasta hace unos meses conocíamos como Project Scorpio.
Aunque compartirá juegos con Xbox One, la gracia de esta nueva máquina está en una potencia superior que permitirá a los desarrolladores ir más allá con sus títulos.
Estamos hablando de un procesador de ocho núcleos x86 a 2.3GHz, una GPU de 40 unidades de computación a 1172MHz hecha mano a mano con AMD con una capacidad de procesamiento de 6 teraflops y 12GB de memoria RAM GDDR5.
El ancho de banda de la memoria es de 326GB/s, el disco duro interno es de 1TB y la unidad óptica Blu-ray permite la reproducción de contenido en 4K.
Primeros juegos que aprovecharán su potencia
Lógicamente los desarrolladores no están obligados a aprovechar las nuevas cualidades de Xbox One X, pero muchos obviamente si lo harán ya que así convertirán a su producto en uno mucho más atractivo, teniendo en cuenta además que será aprovechable igualmente en las versiones de PC y las de PS4 Pro.
Además de los nuevos juegos que saldrán en los próximos meses, los desarrolladores con juegos ya en el mercado podrán sacar actualizaciones para darle soporte a la consola y así exprimirla lo máximo posible.
Estos son los más de 130 juegos que por ahora los futuros usuarios de Xbox One X tienen que tener en cuenta si quieren sacarle partido a su nueva consola y a la TV 4K que posiblemente tengan si de verdad quieren que la experiencia sea redonda.
