La 77ª edición de los Premios Primetime Emmy nos dejó una gala vibrante en el Peacock Theater de Los Ángeles, con el humor cercano de Nate Bargatze como maestro de ceremonias.
La velada estuvo marcada por la sorpresa de The Pitt, que se coronó como Mejor Serie Dramática por delante de la gran favorita Severance, y por el dominio arrollador de The Studio, que batió récords en el terreno de la comedia.
El drama médico de HBO Max no solo se llevó el premio gordo, sino que también dio a Noah Wyle su primer Emmy tras décadas de carrera. Severance, que llegaba como una de las más nominadas, tuvo que conformarse con premios de interpretación y secundarios, incluido el de Britt Lower como Mejor Actriz Dramática y Tramell Tillman como Mejor Actor de Reparto.
En comedia, The Studio de Apple TV+ hizo historia con una avalancha de premios, entre ellos Mejor Serie, Mejor Actor (Seth Rogen) y Mejor Dirección.
Jean Smart volvió a triunfar como Mejor Actriz en Comedia gracias a Hacks, mientras que Adolescence se impuso con fuerza en el apartado de miniseries, otorgando a Stephen Graham y Owen Cooper reconocimientos individuales.
